Barry was born February 4th, 1939, in New Westminster, B.C. and peacefully passed into eternity on Sunday, August 13th, 2023, in Victoria, B.C.
Diagnosed with cancer in 2020 his dignified acceptance and patience over the past three years has been admirable.
Barry grew up in Silverdale, B.C., and married Twyla Martin August 19th, 1960. They raised their two children in Chilliwack, B.C. where they enjoyed many years of fellowship with family and friends as well as serving their customers at Country Color Photo.
Barry & Twyla have enjoyed their retirement years in Nanaimo, B.C., especially time spent on the water.
Barry is predeceased by his parents, Allan & Margaret Langill, and his brother Bobby, as well as several brothers/ sisters-in-law.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Twyla, his daughter Michelle & Lorne Gale and children Portia, Will and Isla Rae and his son Weyden & Keltie Langille and sons Benjamin (Dariya), Jesse (Rebecca) and Ethan.
Also survived by his brothers Laurie (Lois) and Lindsay (Tammy) and sister Allana Wilson, brother-in-law Bert (Irene) Martin and many nieces and nephews.
He is loved and remembered by many and will be greatly missed.
