TOWNSEND; Charles. Nov. 12, 1932 - Dec. 2, 2013. Charles Clifford Townsend passed away peacefully at Mission Memorial Hospital on Dec. 2, 2013. He was born in Boston, Mass., Nov. 12, 1932. Charlie was a free spirit and spent a large portion of his life riding the rails and travelling coast to coast across both Canada and the USA, eventually putting down roots in Mission. He loved nature and a simple life. His wit and fiesty personality will be missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held at Mission Community Services Society on Tuesday, December 17 at 2:00 PM.
