Garry Thomas Paling was born December 12, 1948, in Mission, BC. Garry passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2023.
Garry spent the majority of his life living between Mission and Abbotsford, British Columbia.
Garry was in the trucking and quarry industry for most of his life. He loved to work on his trucks and tell stories about his experiences in the company of good friends and family. He also had a passion for gardening and horticulture and owned a small nursery business.
Garry is predeceased by his parents, William and Elizabeth Paling and his twin brother, Gordon Paling.
He is survived by his two sons, Ronnie (Athena); Tom (Stella); his grandchildren, Rayl (Natasha), Tyanna (Cole) and Grady; Marilyn; sister, Sheri (Jim); brother, Rick (Patti); sister- in- law Valerie, and many other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to express our gratitude to Menno Place Hospital who cared for Dad in his final year. He was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
A family gathering will be held in lieu of a Funeral Service.
