Jonathan (Jon) Neil shanks, age 78, was born in West Seattle, passed peacefully in Vancouver, British Columbia after a several year battle with Parkinson's disease.
Jon lived a full life. He was an adventurer, risk taker, entrepreneur, loving husband, father, and dear friend to many and will be missed by all those who were touched by his warmness and generosity.
Jon is survived by his beloved wife, Shiuling, and sister Susan Shanks Sheppard and family, daughter Tanya Jack and many grandchildren and great grandchidren.
