It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that our family announce the passing of Joe Godfrey of Mission, BC. He passed away peacefully at his home on August 28, 2023, after a very courageous battle with cancer.
Joe was born on February 19, 1938 in Smith, Ontario.
He is predeceased by his son, Lance and wife, Shirley.
Those left to cherish his memory, his children: Jackie (Guido), Yvonne (Gordon), Dawn (Rick), Rebecca (James); his six grandchildren: Jannetta (Rob), Lance (Megan), Anastasia (Colin), Shannon (Clark), Chantelle and John Jason; his nine great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Kaitlin, Ethan, Owen, Liev, Zachary, Sophie, Emma, and Henry.
As our family crest says, "Ne Oublie" Do not forget.
Forever in our hearts.
A private memorial will take place at a later date.
The family would like to thank the Mission hospice team of nurses and doctors that assisted with his care.
