Julie Ann Fisher (nee Phare)

It is with heavy hearts that after a long courageous battle with cancer, we announce the death of Julie, who passed away on January 5, 2023.
Julie was born and raised in Mission, graduating and attending college here. She met the love of her life and after her marriage to Paddy she moved to Alberta to raise her family. In the later years Julie and her husband traveled the world with his job in the military. Living in Manhattan, New York, Virginia, Manitoba, Cold Lake, Calgary and Edmonton visiting Europe and Germany, were some of their destinations.
Her love of gardening was legendary and she spent hours canning and preserving foods for winter. She loved and adored her children and was an amazing grandma to her favorite little people. She was much loved and adored by her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her children, Justin and Jennifer, her parents Gordon and Joyce Phare and her father-in-law Edward.
She is survived by her husband Paddy, her children, Patrick (Chandra) and Shiela (Thomas), her grandchildren Ramona, Angus, Quinn and Maggie, her siblings, Suzette, Monica (Dave), Kirk (Karen), her mother-in-law Marwyn, in-laws Cindy (Rick), Sandi and Jeff (Lisa), as well as several other relatives.
