McINROY, Kenneth Nelson. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Nelson McInroy on April 8, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Ken is survived by wife Edith, son Greg (Juanita), daughter Cynthia (Dave) and grandchildren Brendan, Lauren, Sean, and Shaeline. Most of Ken's working career was spent as a millwright in the sawmilling business. He loved to build things, including houses in Mission and on Pender Island, as well as furniture and numerous other projects. His true passion was fishing, and he spent many hours on the Vedder and Chilliwack rivers. He also enjoyed baking, and was famous for his bread, buns, and wonderful lemon meringue pie. The family would like to thank the staff at Greystone Manor in Maple Ridge where Ken and Edith lived, and specifically the staff at Hawthorne Care Centre in Port Coquitlam where Ken received exceptional and compassionate care during his final months. In keeping with Ken's wishes there will be a small family-only memorial at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the Heart of Hawthorne Foundation. Expressions of sympathy can
