December 6, 2018
Kenneth Sidney Touet, 84, of Mission, BC, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

Born in Carragana, SK to Earl and Ruth Touet he lived most of his life in Porcupine Plains and in Carrot River, SK relocating to Mission, BC in 1980.

Ken was a consummate salesman, working first for his father at the Touet Garage in Carragana, then as a partner in Pasquia Equipment in Carrot River, and in his later years for Prospect Equipment in Mission. In his spare time he enjoyed repairing anything he could lay his hands on, playing cards, completing puzzles and watching his hometown Vancouver Canucks.

He was also a loving and dedicated family man. He is survived by his best friend and wife of 63 years, Evelyn (Harmatuik); three sons Duril Touet and his wife Sharlene, of Martensville, SK; Shallon Touet and his wife Debbie, of Barrhead, AB; Del Touet and his wife Louise, of Mission, BC; and his daughter Leora Touet-Hiscock and her husband Kevin, of Mission, BC. He leaves behind 11 loving grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who were a great source of happiness and pride for him. Also surviving him are two sisters, one brother, his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Our family would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the amazing nurses and to Dr. Gill on Baker 2 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital who saw Ken through his final hours with dignity and grace.
