January 18, 1936 - March 27, 2024

Kikuko 'Kiko' Graham (née Seito) passed away at The Residence in Mission (TRIM) on March 27, 2024.

Kiko was born in Japan on January 18, 1936, the first of six children. She met her husband Ian in Tokyo in 1963 while he was on a world tour. They were married when he returned to Japan in 1965.

Kiko emigrated to Canada in August 1965 to join her husband who had opened his medical practice in Mission. She raised their three daughters and later continued to generously give her love and care to her six grandchildren.

Kiko valued learning and earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Tokyo Science University and later a Bachelor of Arts at Simon Fraser University. Her many interests included Japanese tea ceremony, flower arrangement and brush painting, french conversation and french cooking.

Kiko leaves her husband Ian, and daughters Jinko (Brad), Reiko (Rob), and Noriko (Allan) as well as her grandchildren, Everett Morris, Tegan Elder, Liev Bjerkebro, and Hugh, Kazuo and Elsie McNeney.

Kiko's last two years were spent at TRIM where she received excellent care and enjoyed the friendship of the other residents. The family extends ours thanks to the Cherry neighbourhood caregivers and the reception staff at TRIM.

There will be no service at Kiko's request.
