JORGER Leo Edward Rudoph “Ed” Aug. 19, 1933 - Feb. 28, 2013. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ed, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and dedicated volunteer. Ed is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roxane; sons: Nolan (Sharon) of Mission, Regan (Barbara) of Port Coquitlam, Brennan (Leslie) of Abbotsford and Logan (Stephanie) of Calgary, Alberta; brother: Jerry (Lis); grandchildren: Erik, Alyssa, Erryn, Andrew, Shayne, Justene, Trevor, Bryce, Chelsey & Nicholas; and nieces and nephew Heidi, Tina & Ben. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Ed served in the Air force as an airplane mechanic and later for many years as a customs inspector. He was a dedicated volunteer supporting many organizations including the Poor Clares, and the Knights of Columbus, and he and Roxane provided stable and warm-hearted supervision in the inmate escort program. His joy of life, kind heart and cheeky sense of humor will be missed by all. Services will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 32550 7th Avenue, Mission, BC, Prayers 7:00 pm March 7, and Funeral 11:00 am March 8, 2013. Reception to follow: Elks Hall - 33336 Second Ave, Mission, BC. Donations in memory may be made to Covenant House and the S.P.C.A.
