MAILHIOT; Lionel Phillip
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Lionel Mailhiot on January 2, 2015 with his family by his side, at the age of 75. Lionel leaves behind his beloved wife Janet of 52 years, his son Daryl and daughter Michelle (Steve), grandchildren; Danny, Celine, Joey, Alysha, Devon and Desiree and great grand daughter Leila. He is also survived by four sisters and one brother, as well as many nieces, nephews and relatives. Lionel is predeceased by his parents Alice and Oscar, two sisters and five brothers.
Lionel will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. His number one priority was his devotion to his family. He was energetic, caring, compassionate, strong and had a huge sense of humour.
The family would like to express our sincere thanks to the amazing staff at the Tabor Home for their special care, also to Dr. Chafe and Dr. Newton. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 23, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the ABC Restaurant Banquet Room, 32080 Marshall Rd., Abbotsford, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of BC.
