It is with heartfelt sorrow; we announce the passing of Olene on December 14.
As a longtime resident of Mission, Olene contributed to our community through work and volunteer. She holds a special place in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
Olene is predeceased by her father Ron, and brother Doug.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 58 years, Roy; son Curtis (Nora); daughter Nadene (Dave); mom Dorothy; brothers Larry (Barb), Tom (Carol); sisters Shirley (Warren), Eleanor, Laura (Steve); grandchildren; great grandchildren; and many other loved family and friends.
As per Olene's wishes, there will be no "big to-do". Donations may be made to the Christine Morrison Hospice Society.
The amazing care given to Olene by the staff and volunteers during her journey is appreciated immensely.
