With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Olga Satchell at the age of 85. Mom was born in Alix, Alberta on September 11, 1935 to Anna and Jacob Domino. She passed at Abbotsford Menno Hospital on December 8, 2020, due to dementia and covid complications.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2010 and her son Donald in March 2020. Survived by sons Gerald (Penny) and Wayne (Alison), grandchildren Jeremy (Nicole) and Kelsey (Mason), great grandchildren Makayla, Kyia and Gage.
After moving to BC, mom grew up on an Abbotsford farm and married Ed in 1955. Living in Lake Erroch and Dewdney, then moving to Mission in 1967. They spent lots of good times camping and fishing at interior lakes with family and friends and bar fishing on the Fraser, Ma usually out fishing Pa. She worked with the school district as a librarian for many years and enjoyed helping kids at school.
Many thanks to Bevan Lodge and Menno Hospital staff for the care and love they gave Mom, keeping her happy and comfortable.
