Peter Cyril Lewington, 87, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Monday, February 12, 2018 in Mission, British Columbia.
Peter was born February 21, 1930 in London, England to William and Lillian Lewington. In 1955, Peter met his lifetime partner, friend and sweetheart, Edna Marion Berry, of Abbotsford, British Columbia as she toured Europe on her bicycle.
The two were married in 1956, and soon after travelled by ship to Vancouver, B.C. to begin their new life together. Peter was a devoted and loving father, husband, grandfather and friend.
Peter is survived by his three daughters, Dawn Corcorran, Wendy Lewington and Judy Chadwick, seven grandchildren, Justine Corcorran, Patrick Corcorran, Jessica Corcorran, Anna Coulter, Claire Coulter, Nicola Coulter and Jemma Chadwick, four great-grandchildren Owen Corcorran, Rosetta Lavigne, Gabriel Lavigne, and Skye Coulter, and his brother Lenard Lewington and sister Olive Hards.
