Viola Rumble passed away peacefully on September 11, 2022 in Abbotsford, BC at the age of 80 surrounded by loved ones.
She was born September 19, 1941 in Moosejaw Saskatchewan. She was the born 6th of 8 children. She married Don Rumble (RCAF) in 1959 and moved around Canada until she settled in Mission, BC in 1971 for the remainder of her life. She was predeceased by her sister Roxanne and brothers Sammy and Ray. She is survived by her children Donna (Rory), Patricia (Norman), Cynthia, Janet, Kevin (Jennifer), sisters Betty, Ruth, Dee, brother Dave, grandchildren Kris, Richard, Matthew, Sarah, Catherine, Jacob, and McKenna, and great-grandchild Madyson.
She worked hard to raise her children, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved her children more than words could express. She could create an incredible garden in any environment. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and baking. She frequented the Hospital Auxiliary thrift shop, and took joy from collecting knick-knacks.
Her faith in God was strong, and she enjoyed spending time at the Mission Friendship Center.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for Spring of 2023.
