January 19, 1928 - October 22, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wally on the 22 of October in the Mission Hospice, where he spent the last six weeks of his life.
He leaves behind his wife of 70 years Agnes, his son Greg (Judy), his two daughters Charlotte (Leo) Croteau and Heather (Doug) Stefanik, also many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Wally was born in Southern Saskatchewan and moved to Kelowna in his early twenties where he met his wife Agnes, then moved to Copper Mountain just out of Princeton, where he worked in the mines.
Later moving down to Port Coquitlam where he worked in a ceramic factory until he started his own construction company known as Lange and Greg Const. Ltd. He was building homes in Port Coquitlam before he moved to Mission in 1970 and continued building and developing subdivisions until his retirement.
He had many hobbies in his life to keep him busy hunting, fishing, playing the mandolin, gardening and pool with his friends.
We would like to thank all the nurses and staff, and the doctors who took care of him for the last days of his life at Mission Hospice.
Due to Covid-19 we well hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
