Leave senior drivers alone

Younger drivers likely cause more accidents than their senior counterparts

Editor, The Record:

An open letter to ICBC:

Please make up your minds. Are B.C. seniors the best drivers with the fewest and least serious driving incidents, or are they not?

I am sure the statistics will clearly show that seniors are the least likely to be involved in accidents compared to all other drivers. If so, then why not call off all the driving tests for seniors, and instead, put your time and effort into improving the driving habits of the 30-50-year-old drivers who, most of the time, drive well over the speed limits and are involved in the most accidents.

Get real, ICBC, and let the elderly drivers continue to drive carefully until their lifespans end of natural causes in the course of the next few years.
