LETTER: Shouldn’t be marching if not in armed forces

This is no different than the civilian who disgraced himself by wearing an army uniform in Ottawa.

As a military veteran I have proudly marched with other veterans in Remembrance Day parades since 1954.

I was quite upset by the fake soldier caught in the act in Ottawa on November 11th and hoped he would face criminal charges.

On Remembrance Day I went to the assembly point for this years parade in Mission but turned and went home because some people, who I know personally, were lined up to march with the veterans, yet these same people have never been in the armed forces.

This is no different than the civilian who disgraced himself by wearing an army uniform in Ottawa. They should all be punished for their disgraceful acts.
