Eight badminton teams participated in BC Winter Games round robin action on Friday evening at Hatzic Secondary.
In Group A, the Fraser Valley defeated the Cariboo-North East 7-0 and Vancouver-Squamish defeated the Kootenays by the same score. In Group B, the Fraser River Delta won 7-0 over the North West and the Vancouver Island-Central Coast coasted to victory over the Thompson-Okanagan by a score of 5-2.
Round robin play will resume on Saturday morning.
