Disc Golf finals come to Mission

Some of the best disc golfers in the province are set to return to Mission on Saturday.

The annual Mission Possible event wraps up the Disc Golf 2016-17 winter series.

The one-day, two-course event occurs at the Heritage and Centennial Park courses.

The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m., with all competitors starting round one. Round two of the event gets underway at 1:30 p.m., with an awards ceremony set for 5 p.m.

Open, masters, grandmasters and advanced players are all a part of Flight A, meaning they play round one at Centennial and round two at Heritage.

Flight B competitors include: advanced masters, advanced grandmasters, intermediate, novice, advanced women, intermediate women and juniors. They play round one at Heritage and then move to Centennial for round two.

The event is a Professional Disc Golf Association-sanctioned C-Tier event.
