The Fraser Valley Bandits have just two home games remaining in the 2021 Canadian Elite Basketball League schedule, but it appears that Sunday’s (July 25) game at the Abbotsford Centre could be a sell-out.

Bandits representatives shared with The News that there are less than 100 tickets remaining for Sunday’s game against the Edmonton Stingers. The game is set to tip-off at 1 p.m.

The maximum number of people the club can host is 2,000 due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bandits added that next Tuesday’s (July 27) game also against the Stingers is in the same boat and tickets are limited.

Fraser Valley has a perfect 5-0 record at home and take on the Hamilton Honey Badgers later today in Hamilton.

The games against Edmonton will feature two of the top teams in the CEBL, as Fraser Valley (5-2) sits in second place with Edmonton (8-1) occupying the top spot in the league.

Edmonton and Fraser Valley also battled for the CEBL championship in the finals of the 2020 Summer Series.

Edmonton is set to host this year’s CEBL championship weekend, which runs from Aug. 18 to 22 in the Alberta capital.
