Fifty-three skiers are competing in the freestyle moguls today at Hemlock Resort, on the first day of the BC Winter Games.

There are 18 females and 35 males on the start list for the event, which takes place throughout the day on Pete’s Pass. The skiers have completed their first run, and are just taking to the slopes for their second run. Final scores will be available following that run, at about 2:30 p.m.

The freestyle skiers are training for slopestyle throughout the day closer to the lodge, at the terrain park. That event takes place tomorrow at Hemlock, with first run at 10 a.m. and second run at 12:30 p.m.
