Hatzic Hockey Academy player Danny Ewert signed with the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds U15AAA team in the BC Elite Hockey League.
The forward made his first appearance for the Thunderbirds on Jan. 14th at Abbotsford Centre in a 2-1 win over the Valley West Giants.

He notched his first point with the team the following day in a rematch with the Giants at Planet Ice Delta. Ewert assisted on the Thunderbirds’ third goal of the game in the second period to help them to a 4-1 win.
The U15 Thunderbirds sit sixth in the BCEHL standings at 10-6-1-1 on the season. Up next Fraser Valley visits the Vancouver North West Hawks on Jan. 28 at Hollyburn Country Club at 6:15 p.m.
