HPSS take long road in Valleys

The Heritage Park Highlanders have a much tougher trek to the provincials, but there is still hope, said coach Frank Chan. The senior girls basketball team was decimated by Port Coquitlam’s Riverside Rapids Tuesday night, 87-32.The Mission team still continues on in the Fraser Valleys, but it’s a harder fight. The girls will take on 13th-ranked Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary this afternoon (Feb. 24), and if the Highlanders win, they move to the next round. If we lose, we’re out, said Chan.
