The discs are set to be sailing in Mission on Saturday.

The sixth annual Mission Possible disc golf tournament returns to Centennial Park and Heritage Park for a full day of action.

The 36-hole tournament sees competitors register and meet starting at 8 a.m., and hit the links at 9 a.m for round one.

Round two begins at 1 p.m., with award ceremonies, throw-offs, prizes and other group activities getting underway after 4 p.m.

Two different groups of players hit the courses, with open, master, women and advanced men playing at Heritage for round one and Centennial for round two.  Grand master, advanced women, advanced grand master, intermediate men and women, novice and junior boys all play Centennial for round one and Heritage for round two.

A special bonus has also been put up by Kirby Insurance.

The first player to ace hole number eight at the Heritage course will receive $500. A total of 112 players are set to compete at the event. The tournament is ranked as a C-tier Professional Disc Golf Association event.
