The Mission City Outlaws placed fourth at the Cyclone Taylor Cup.

The playoff run is over for the Mission City Outlaws.

Competing at the Cyclone Taylor Cup in Victoria, the Outlaws dropped their final three games at the tournament to place fourth overall.

Mission fell 8-4 to the Campbell River Storm in the bronze medal game on Sunday to seal the team's fate.

It's a step down from last season, when the Outlaws earned bronze provincially.

Mission started off the tournament hot with a 7-2 win over the Storm in round robin play on Thursday, but then fell 2-1 to the 100 Mile House Wrangers on Friday. Mission only managed one goal despite firing 50 shots at the Wranglers goalie.

The Outlaws gold medal dreams were dashed after a 7-5 loss to the Victoria Cougars on Saturday, the setback meant the Outlaws were relegated to the bronze game on Sunday.
