Three Mission gymnasts will be competing at the Western Canadian Championships in Alberta later this month.
Ashlynn Skulstad, Tamara Skulstad, and Justine Robinson earned a spot on Team B.C. this past weekend at the Abbotsford Twisters annual invitational event at Ag-rec in Exhibition Park.
Other Twisters that qualified for the event are Marquita Morison, Brienna Gaspar, Mikhayla Rosenow and Zoe Rumsby.
"This is the highest amount of female athletes from one single club that will be representing Team B.C. at this competition," said Sophia Kliewer, community relations officer for the club.
Close to 1,000 athletes from across the province and Yukon took part in the Abbotsford competition.
